Electric Design. The Future is Now!

As automakers rush into electric vehicles their design departments are busy finding designs that visually announce “Electric”. Expect design to have a rebirth in all products because of the design influence that’s being advanced in these new products.

Once again, new design will permeate consumer choices. Manufacturers, of every type of product not just the marine industry, should ready their design departments. There is a fast approaching future loaded with products that step out from their current comfort base.

How far to step out will be determined by the consumers of each manufacturer. If you’re a manufacturer that touts your product as the most tech savvy and modern product, you’ll wind up stepping out pretty far to keep your image. If your customers enjoy more of a traditional style you’ll have to endeavor to create a new distinctive approach to your styling that still reflects the “traditional” appearance in a new way.

In any case, every manufacturer that intends to be successful during this next styling revolution will have to find a new, and distinctive way to celebrate their customer’s expectations visually through design.
