Granata Design

Peter Granata is the country’s foremost recreational boat designer. The elder son of a larger than life Chicago Senator, Peter Jr. was expected to continue the family political tradition, but opted instead, to forge a new path.

His job starts with recreational boating manufacturers. For them, he creates award wining vessels. He’s been listed as a Legendary Navel Architect and the Marine Guru of Boat Design. Over the years, he’s produced over a dozen patented designs and ideas. More recently, Boating Magazine listed him as one of the top four “Game-Changers” in the country. He's the former president of the Marine Design Resource Alliance and one of the most respected voices in the boating industry.

Peter's work isn't limited to the marine industry. He is an industrial designer that works with with Yacht Interiors, Recreational Vehicles and Residential homes. 

Phil Stark

Phil Stark is Vice-President of Design at Granata Design and has worked with Peter for over 20 years. Phil is a talented Designer and Illustrator who brings the design concepts to the visual forefront. 

Phil is an award winning artist in his own right and is one of several artists that sponsor The Signature Gallery, an art gallery located in the trendy City Market area of Historic Savannah.
